Power, Politics & Protests: James Carville Uncensored

The Bayou Brief proudly presents this provocative, feature-length conversation with Louisiana’s original Ragin’ Cajun, James Carville. From his home in Uptown New Orleans, Carville discusses what he considers to be the three most critical issues in Louisiana—race, water, and oil (with some discussion about LSU football as lagniappe), alongside host Frederick D. Bell, one of his former LSU students and a recent graduate of Tulane University who just so happened to have attended high school near Carville, Louisiana.” – The Bayou Brief

Benjaga Productions oversaw the entire production process of this special for The Bayou Brief. After being contracted in early June 2020, we assembled the crew, ran production & post production and assisted in the online release VIA the Bayou Brief Accounts.

For the credits of “Power, Politics & Protests”, Benjaga contracted New Orleans artist, Kaye the Beast. Using existing lecture footage from Benjaga of James Carville’s LSU class, Kaye created the original song “Believe in Reason”.

Believe in Reason” is available here:
